The Lord in your midst

Greetings...
May the Lord take this Word and minister to your spirit.

Zephaniah 3:17
17 The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing."

NKJV

The Lord is saying to you, and me, "Jehovah, your God, is in the very center of your situation - and - in the center of your very being. He is in you, in the center or core of your being as a Valiant Warrior. He is dressed with the armor of righteousness and all authority and He will save, deliver, release - He will cause you to triumph! He is thoroughly in love with you - as a matter of fact, He's WILD about you! From your midst He will rejoice over you, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to you. He will make melody in His heart just for you. And, when the battle rages around you, He will quiet you with His Love. All of this, dear child, from your very midst! So don't look around, wondering where your help will come from. No, your help comes from the Lord Who made Heaven and Earth. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds you - from the inside out! Christ in you - your hope of Glory."

Child of God, He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you. So raise up the head that hangs down and lift up your hands to the Lord. You are what His heart is fixed upon - He is in your midst - you will see His help and that right early.

Be blessed.

What are you hearing?

Below is a word I believe the Lord is speaking to my heart - one I am to share with each of you...

"Hear the Word of the Lord. I have spoken through Moses, My servant, as recorded in Numbers 10...

Nu 10:1-8
10 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 "Make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make them of hammered work; you shall use them for calling the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps.
3 When they blow both of them, all the congregation shall gather before you at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
4 But if they blow only one, then the leaders, the heads of the divisions of Israel, shall gather to you.
5 When you sound the advance, the camps that lie on the east side shall then begin their journey.
6 When you sound the advance the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall begin their journey; they shall sound the call for them to begin their journeys.
7 And when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but not sound the advance.
8 The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and these shall be to you as an ordinance forever throughout your generations.
NKJV

"I have been trying to call My congregation - the true believers in Me - to gather for encouragement, direction, warfare prayer, and all the Kingdom work that needs to be accomplished before I send My Son. I have been attempting to assemble the saints to disciple one another, to discipline one another, that every spot and blemish would be removed from My Bride. I have been calling, calling, and calling for each and every one of you to assemble yourselves together, AND SO MUCH THE MORE, as the Day of My Coming is at hand.

The trumpets have been prepared. The Trumpeter is sounding and for those who have ears to hear, the sound is loud and clear. The call to gather as one Body and heed My Voice is growing louder and louder. But what I am witnessing is My people becoming dull of hearing - because their own fleshly, carnal desires are dictating to them what direction to take, what to do with their time, where to spend their money, and how much they can afford to "love the Lord their God". My question to each of you in the Body of Christ is a simple one...what are YOU hearing?

Are you hearing My voice - My direction - My calling for sanctification, for holiness? Are you hearing My call to assemble with the saints, to come out from the world's way of doing business and take up My yoke and mantle? If so, are you following My instructions? If not - why not?

If you can not, will not hear the trumpet at this time, how will you hear the trumpet, the last trumpet, when My call is to rise and meet Me in the air?"

Heb 10:25
25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
NKJV

Worship Night

Greetings,
We met last night - with Jesus being our only "agenda". We sang, shouted, some wept tears of joy; at times we were simply silent in His Presence as He seemed to come "so near". You know what I mean? He says, "draw near to me and I'll draw near to you". How near are you to Him? Well, how near does He seem to you? I realize that isn't always such a good test - sometimes He's nearer than we suspect. But there was no misunderstanding last night. We all knew the Lord was in fellowship with us and we were in close communion with Him.

One thing He kept bringing to my spirit - probably the main thing all evening - was MERCY. When I planned the songs to have available for our worship and praise time last night I didn't think about all of the different words. While I was singing them, though, the word "mercy" kept standing out. Mercy. Not just a pity, but God getting right down into our trouble, our dirt, our pain, our joy and sorrow; God, not willing to leave us where we are - alone. God, through His Son, Jesus - coming to our aid.

That's how it was last night. A very tangible, "reach out and touch Him" kind of night.

I don't say this to promote our church or try to advertise our worship team (which was actually a group of people from different fellowships). I tell you this for one reason. Jesus. He's all you need. He's all I need. In His Presence is more joy then you or I could ever need. He's the ONLY one Who is Worthy of our praise and complete love. And, brethren, when He says "draw near to Me and I'll draw near to you"...well, what is keeping you from MAKING the time to take Him at His word?

If you are in the area and God is speaking to your heart ("today, if you hear His voice, harden not your heart...") come join us this Sunday evening at 313 6th Street, WDM, at 6 pm. We'll give you a warm christian greeting - but God will give you the hug.
